Senior Software Engineer (m / f / d)

Your tasks

You will be developing several different software solutions for the transport sector as part of a highly motivated team, and will be working independently on the creation and implementation of solution concepts. Your work will involve the use of a range of modern technologies, for which you will receive all the necessary assistance from other team members. Internal knowledge transfer about new technologies (also across operational boundaries) takes place on a regular basis and is regarded as an integral part of our activities.

Your profile

You will have a degree in computer science, business computer science or a comparable educational background, and also have experience in developing application software. You will also

• have thorough knowledge of the Java programming language
• have worked with at least one of the following technologies: Eclipse RCP, JEE, CDI, GlassFish, JPA based on Hibernate, creation and implementation of web services (JAX-RS, JAX-WS)
• ideally be proficient in the use of Oracle databases
• possibly already have experience with microservices, Docker, Spring Boot, Consul, Elasticsearch or Drools
• have a high level of personal initiative and be able to work independently
• be flexible, reliable, resilient and a team player
• have a good knowledge of English
